SustainHealth Recruitment is a Finalist of the Recruiter Insider 2026 Awards
SustainHealth has been named a finalist in the Recruiter Insider Annual 2026 Service Excellence Awards in the Healthcare/Medical (Agency) category. Here is what it means for the candidates and clients we work with.
When we found out we were named a finalist in the Recruiter Insider Annual 2026 Service Excellence Awards for the Healthcare/Medical (Agency) category, the first thing we felt was gratitude.
Because this recognition is not something we engineered. It came from feedback. Real feedback from the nurses, midwives, allied health professionals, and health services who trusted us enough to say honestly how we are doing. That is the thing about Recruiter Insider. The ratings come directly from candidates and clients. There is no shortlisting committee making judgment calls. The data speaks for itself.
“Service excellence in healthcare recruitment is not about placing people quickly. It is about placing them well, and looking after them long after the contract is signed.”
What we actually set out to do
SustainHealth was built around a straightforward belief: that the healthcare workforce deserves better than transactional recruitment. That nurses heading to remote communities in the Northern Territory deserve someone in their corner who knows what that placement actually involves. That a health service in rural Queensland deserves a partner who understands their roster pressures, not just a pipeline of CVs.
Service excellence, for us, means candidates who feel genuinely supported through compliance, credentialling, and placement. It means clients who get honest communication, not just when things go smoothly, but when they do not. It means we pick up the phone.
Why the Healthcare/Medical category matters
Recruitment in healthcare is different. The stakes are higher. A poor placement does not just affect a business outcome. It can affect patient care, team morale, and the wellbeing of a clinician placed somewhere without the right support. Being recognised specifically in the Healthcare/Medical category tells us that the nuance of what we do, including the compliance, the candidate care, and the understanding of remote and regional healthcare contexts, is being noticed.
We work with AHPRA-registered nurses, midwives, and allied health professionals, placing them across the Northern Territory, Queensland, Western Australia, New South Wales, and South Australia. Many of the roles we fill are in communities where the impact of getting it right is deeply felt. That context shapes everything about how we operate.
A thank you is not enough
To every clinician who took the time to leave feedback through Recruiter Insider: thank you. You did not have to do that. Your words are what made this possible, and they are also what keeps us accountable. We do not take that lightly.
To the health services who trusted us with their workforce challenges: thank you for the partnership, the transparency, and for holding us to a high standard. That is what pushes us to be better.
We are genuinely proud to be finalists. And we are going to keep earning it.
Are you a nurse, midwife, or allied health professional looking for locum or permanent roles in remote, rural, or regional Australia? Or a health service looking for a recruitment partner that genuinely invests in outcomes? We would love to connect.
