SustainHealth: Mardis Gras Parade 2020
SustainHealth is lucky to be located in Sydney, where every February we get to experience and celebrate the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardis Gras Parade.
With people traveling from all over the world to watch the parade of over 12,000 people, we are so fortunate to have it on our doorstep. The awesome thing about being in the city is not only getting to see or even be a part of the parade but the events that surround this celebration. Whether planning a large night out, chilling with friends or inclusive activities for families, there is something for everyone.
After the parade, you can continue the celebrations and head to the official after-party in Hordern Pavilion or other parties around the city. For some family fun, you can head to Luna Park. Alternatively, for a lower-key event, watch a movie at the Mardi Gras film festival.
Amazingly, the celebration in diversity spans over 3 weekends and what a time to visit Sydney! Great weather, great beaches, Mardis Gras’ amazing visual arts, performances and community events. What a vibrant city we live in!
