SustainHealth Recruitment Joined Industry Leaders at ANRA Forum 2025
On Wednesday, 21 May 2025, our SustainHealth Recruitment manager Rebecca represented our team and joined healthcare and recruitment leaders at The Mint, Sydney for a full day of industry insight, collaboration, and strategic conversation.
The ANRA Forum, hosted by RCSA, is a key annual event designed to keep healthcare, community care, and disability support providers informed and prepared for the future. The 2025 forum focused on helping businesses stay informed, stay compliant, and stay ahead—especially in light of fast-moving policy shifts, workforce shortages, and the evolving challenges in the healthcare in industry.
This year’s agenda featured sessions on:
- Australian Government IR reforms and immigration policy changes
- Workforce planning, candidate mobility, and rural access barriers
- Recruitment operating models including MSPs and outsourcing impacts
- WHS compliance, healthcare workforce sustainability, and safe staffing strategies
With expert speakers from across government, healthcare, legal, and workforce management, the forum offered valuable insight into the policies and innovations shaping the future of healthcare staffing.
Rebecca’s Key Takeaways from ANRA Forum 2025:
“There were a lot of great insights, experiences, plans, of what’s happened/happening and why, which was found very informative and provided a lot of great context. The event was also reassuring, to hear how other agencies are going and discuss same teething issues, processes, and success stories across the country.
There were interesting topics discusses around how agencies are engaged through various tender applications, what’s happening for healthcare staff entering the country, how we can best support our agency staff from WH&S, risk and mental health perspectives. Additionally, what the next 6 months to 3 years could look like and lastly, we got to hear an ex-Matilda’s team player speak about leadership. Discussing how we can best nurture and bring out the skillsets of our teams and how we can best unify as a company working together as a team.
And of course, it was also great to connect and meet with agency owners and consultants.”
Our SustainHealth team are committed in actively participating in industry led conversations that impact our clients, candidates, and communities. To join in forum like this strengthens our ability to anticipate change, advocate for ethical recruitment standards, and enhance the way we support healthcare professionals.
