National Carers Week 2025 is observed from 12–18 October, and it’s a time to celebrate and recognise the carers across Australia who support family members and friends living with disability, mental health conditions, chronic illness, or who are aging.
These carers are the unseen heroes in our healthcare system. Their dedication not only strengthens families and communities—it also directly relieves pressure from formal healthcare services across hospitals, aged care facilities, and regional health programs.
