Her Nursing Experience
With over 20 years of nursing experience, she has specialised across Medical, Surgical, Sub-Acute, and MPS Nursing. Her passion for travel nursing led her to explore incredible locations across the country, and her current placement in Whyalla has been both personally and professionally rewarding.
“I chose Whyalla because it’s a beautiful coastal location with plenty of beaches, and the opportunity to meet the dolphins!” she shared. “The facility has supportive staff, good accommodation provided as part of the contract, and plenty of activities to enjoy in Whyalla, SA,” is what she would like her fellow contractors to know. “I always bring my crochet equipment to pass the time, along with my scrubs, walking gear, hat, and skincare. I love to do lots of walking on my days off.”
She always ensures open communication with her consultants. “Be transparent with your consultant about your expectations, especially regarding accommodation preferences (e.g., walking distance to the facility), to prevent any issues or conflicts during your placement.”
